What should your landing page include?
There aren’t necessarily hard and fast rules for what each and every landing page should contain. The content of your landing page will vary depending on what your needs are. Some ideas:
Short and sweet copy that quickly and effectively communicates the offer
Often a video can be even more effective than text
If you already have happy customers, then ask them to write you a quick review and get their permission to put it on your landing page
You often see landing pages with countdown times and big headlines such as, “Hurry this offer ends in 24 hours” or “50% off for the first 100 customers”. This can be an effective way to use scarcity to encourage them to make a decision, i.e. fear of missing out aka FOMO.
This is essential. If you’re trying to generate leads then include a form to capture their contact information. If you run an online store then you can create a simple order form for the product you’re trying to sell.
